A Type O Negative egy amerikai gothic metal együttes volt, amely 1989-ben alakult Brooklynban. A zenekart Peter Steele alapította Kenny Hickey-vel, Josh Silverrel és Sal Abruscatóval. A zenekar platinalemezt kapott a Bloody Kisses (1993) és aranylemezt az October Rust (1996) albumért.
A Complete Roadrunner Collection az együttes a Roadrunner Records gondozásában megjelent teljes életművét tartalmazza hat CD-n. Megtalálható benne a debütáló Slow, Deep and Hard (1991), az áttörést hozó Bloody Kisses (1993) olyan dalokkal, mint a Black No. 1 és a Christian Woman, az atmoszférikus October Rust (1996) a Love You To Death című dallal és a Cinnamon Girl feldolgozásával, a sötét World Coming Down (1999), a melankolikus Life Is Killing Me (2003), valamint az utolsó Dead Again (2007).
