A Swallow the Sun egy finn death-doom metal együttes, amelyet 2000-ben alapított Juha Raivio. Stílusuk a dallamot és a hangulatot hangsúlyozza, és időnként a gótikus és black metal területeire is elkalandozik.
A 20 Years of Gloom, Beauty and Despair: Live in Helsinki című élő album 2021-ben jelent meg DVD-n a Century Media kiadónál. A koncertfelvétel 18 dalt tartalmaz, amelyek két évtized munkásságát mutatják be, köztük a The Womb of Winter, a Cathedral Walls, az Empires of Loneliness és a The Giant című számokat. A felvétel élőben rögzíti a doom metal erejét és sötét hangulatát.
A felvétel idején az együttest Juha Raivio, Mikko Kotamäki (ének), Matti Honkonen (basszusgitár), Juuso Raatikainen (dob) és Jaani Peuhu (billentyűk) alkották.
