A Deicide egy amerikai death metal együttes Tampából, amely 1987-ben alakult. Első két albumuk, a Deicide és a Legion a SoundScan-korszak legkelendőbb death metal lemezei közé tartozik.
Az Once Upon the Cross album LP-n jelenik meg remasterelt újrakiadásban, színes átlátszó fehér-piros bakeliten. A kilenc dal között hallhatók a Christ Denied, a When Satan Rules His World és a Kill the Christian tételek. A lemez fóliáján matrica található.
