A The King's Singers legendás brit férfi a cappella együttes, amely folyamatosan megújuló felállásban 1968 óta működik. Az együttes kezdetben klasszikus zenére specializálódott, későbbi éveiben pedig vokális átiratokat és feldolgozásokat is elkezdett előadni a populáris és filmzene műfajában.
A When You Wish Upon A Star – 100 Years Of Disney Songs című CD a Signum Records kiadó gondozásában jelent meg a Disney stúdió centenáriuma alkalmából, és ötletes feldolgozásokban végigkíséri a stúdió történetének szinte minden évtizedét. A felvétel 25 ismert dalt tartalmaz kultikus animációs filmekből — a Pinokkió When You Wish Upon a Star című dalától a Jégvarázs Let it Go-ján át a Coco Remember Me című betétdaláig. A The King's Singers mellett az albumon számos kiemelkedő zenész is közreműködik a világ minden tájáról, többek között az amerikai mezzoszoprán Joyce DiDonato, az új-zélandi tenor Pene Pati és felesége, az egyiptomi szoprán Amina Edris, a francia csellista Edgar Moreau, honfitársa, a trombitaművész Lucienne Renaudin Vary, a brit zongorista John-Paul Ekins vagy a brazil gitáros Plínio Fernandes.
