John Lennon brit énekes, dalszerző és gitáros volt, aki világszerte a The Beatles alapítójaként vált ismertté. A Lennon/McCartney szerzőpáros a zenetörténet egyik legsikeresebb duója maradt. A zenekar 1970-es feloszlása után szólóművészként és Yoko Ono munkatársaként folytatta pályafutását.
