A Loch Vostok egy svéd progressive metal együttes Uppsalából, amelyet egy antarktiszi föld alatti tóról neveztek el. A zenekar 2001-ben alakult a feloszlott Mayadome formációból.
Az Opus Ferox II – Mark of the Beast 2024-ben jelent meg a ViciSolum kiadó gondozásában. Az album 10 dalt tartalmaz, összesen több mint 48 perc játékidővel, és folytatja az együttes intenzív progressive metal stílusát, amely technikai virtuozitást ötvöz extrém elemekkel. A kiemelkedő dalok közé tartozik a hét percet meghaladó Senses, valamint a Children of Science és a Lords of the Inanimate.
Az album megjelenésének idején a felállást Teddy Möller és Lawrence Dinamarca alkotta.
