A Sodom egy német thrash metal együttes Gelsenkirchenből, amelyet 1982-ben alapítottak. A Kreator, a Destruction és a Tankard társaságában a teuton thrash metal „nagy négyesének” egyikeként tartják számon. A death metal úttörőjének számít, és jelentős hatást gyakorolt a német black metal színtérre.
A Get What You Deserve című album CD-n a Steamhammer kiadónál jelent meg. A felvétel a thrash és death metalt ötvözi egy gonosz és dekadens hangzássá, amely a formációra jellemző. A dalok között például megtalálható a Jabba the Hutt, a Jesus Screamer, a Freaks of Nature és a Tribute to Moby Dick is.
