Sting, polgári nevén Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner, angol énekes, dalszerző, basszusgitáros és többszörös Grammy-díjas művész. 1977 és 1986 között a The Police rockegyüttes frontembere volt, 1985 óta szólóalbumokat ad ki, amelyeken a pop, rock, jazz és world music elemeit ötvözi.
A Live in Berlin című dupla CD-s digipack kiadvány 2010-ben jelent meg a Universal Music Groupnál, és Sting 2010. szeptember 21-i fellépését örökíti meg a berlini O2 Arénában a Symphonicities turné keretében, ahol a Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra kísérte Steven Mercurio vezetésével.
