Az Anaal Nathrakh egy birminghami brit extrém metal együttes, amely a black metal, grindcore, industrial metal és death metal elemeit ötvözi zenéjében. A zenekar nevét az 1981-es Excalibur című film Merlin-féle varázsigéjének nyitóformulájából vették, hangzásvilágukra pedig a norvég black metal együttesek – Mayhem, Burzum és Darkthrone – hatottak erősen.
Az In the Constellation of the Black Widow című album 2009. június 29-én jelent meg a Candlelight Records kiadónál, a zenekar ötödik stúdióalbumaként. Ez a vinylkiadás 500 példányra volt korlátozva: 250 fekete-fehér és 250 fekete-lila splatter bakeliten. A lemez összesen 10 dalt tartalmaz, olyan provokatív címekkel, mint az I Am the Wrath of Gods and the Desolation of the Earth, a Terror in the Mind of God vagy a Blood Eagles Carved on the Backs of Innocents, amelyek a zenekar nihilista és mizantróp tematikáját tükrözik.
Az album megjelenésekor a zenekart két tag alkotta: Irrumator (basszusgitár, dob, gitár) és V.I.T.R.I.O.L. (ének).
