A Bad Company angol rockszuperegyüttes 1973-ban alakult Londonban. Összehozta Paul Rodgers énekest és Simon Kirke dobost a Free-ből, Mick Ralphs gitárost (Mott the Hoople) és Boz Burrell basszusgitárost (King Crimson). A Live 1979 dupla album, amelyet a Rhino kiadó jelentetett meg 2022-ben, a zenekar népszerűségének csúcsán rögzített fellépését örökíti meg. A 15 számon olyan gyöngyszemek hallhatók, mint a Bad Company, a Feel Like Makin' Love vagy a Can't Get Enough energikus koncertváltozatban. A narancssárga dupla bakelit a Record Store Day kampány keretében jelent meg, 6.000 példányos limitált szériában, kizárólag a hagyományos zeneboltokban való értékesítésre szánva.
A koncertfelvétel idején a felállást Paul Rodgers, Simon Kirke, Mick Ralphs és Boz Burrell alkotta; a 2022-es Live 1979 albumon közreműködtek Simon Kirke, Rick Wills, Howard Leese, Todd Ronning, Boz Burrell, Paul Rodgers, Paul Rodgers and Company és Jaz Lochrie.
