David Byrne skót-amerikai zenész, multiinstrumentalista és az új hullámos Talking Heads együttes alapítója (1975–1991). Grammy-, Oscar- és Golden Globe-díjas, a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame tagja.
Az American Utopia on Broadway OCR 2CD-n a 2019-es Broadway-musical élő előadását rögzíti, amelyben Byrne az American Utopia című szólóalbumának (2018) anyagát dolgozta fel, és kiegészítette a Talking Heads kultikus slágereivel. A felvétel 21 élő dalt tartalmaz, köztük a This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody), az Once in a Lifetime, a Burning Down the House és a Road to Nowhere című dalokat. A musicalt vizuális megjelenéséért és koreográfiájáért méltatták; 2020-ban Spike Lee rendezte meg filmes változatát.
