David Byrne skót-amerikai zenész, a Talking Heads new wave együttes alapítója (1975–1991). Grammy-, Oscar- és Golden Globe-díjas művész, akit 2002-ben vettek fel a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-be.
Az American Utopia on Broadway OCR dupla lemezen a 2018-as American Utopia stúdióalbum broadwayi musical-feldolgozásának élő felvételeit tartalmazza. A húsz dal között egyaránt megtalálhatók Byrne újabb számai (Here, Every Day Is a Miracle) és a Talking Heads klasszikusai (Once in a Lifetime, Burning Down the House, This Must Be the Place).
