A Fear Factory amerikai industrial metal együttes, amelyet 1989-ben alapítottak Los Angelesben. Pályafutása során tíz stúdióalbumot adott ki, és úttörő szerepet játszott a metal és az elektronikus zene ötvözésében.
A Recoded album 2022-ben jelent meg a Nuclear Blast kiadónál, az előző, 2021-es Aggression Continuum című lemez remixalbumaként. Tizenegy dal található rajta, amelyek az eredeti felvételeket új industriális formákba öntik – a kiemelt dalok közé tartozik a Hatred Will Prevail (Monolith), a Disobey (Disruptor) és a záró Recoded (Recode). Minden dal címében utalás található az Aggression Continuum album eredeti forrására.
Az album megjelenésének idején a felállást Matt DeVries (basszusgitár), Mike Heller (dob) és Tony Campos (basszusgitár) alkotta.
