A Flotsam and Jetsam amerikai thrash metal együttes, amelyet 1981-ben alapítottak az arizonai Phoenixben. A zenekarban korábban Jason Newsted basszusgitáros is játszott, aki a debütáló album megjelenése után röviddel a Metallicához szerződött.
A Rats in the Temple kislemez 2026-ban jelent meg a Napalm Records kiadónál. A bakelit lemezen a címadó dal hallható 4 perc 45 másodperc hosszúságban, amely a thrash metal műfaji vázát képviseli speed metal elemekkel.
A felvételen közreműködtek Jason Newsted, Steve Conley gitáron, Bill Bodily, Eric Braverman és Ken Mary dobon.
