Steve Hackett brit gitáros és dalszerző, aki a progresszív rock együttes, a Genesis tagjaként vált ismertté, ahol 1971 és 1977 között játszott. Hat stúdióalbumhoz és három élőlemezhez való hozzájárulásáért 2010-ben beválasztották a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-be.
A Genesis Revisited Band & Orchestra élőalbum CD-n a londoni Royal Festival Hallban rögzített koncert felvételeit tartalmazza, ahol Hackett zenekarával és szimfonikus zenekarral újra előadta a Genesis klasszikus dalait. A felvétel olyan kiterjedt kompozíciókat tartalmaz, mint a Supper's Ready, a The Musical Box vagy a Firth of Fifth, kiegészítve Hackett szólószerzeményeivel, a Shadow of the Hierophant és az El Niño című dalokkal.
