A Kamelot egy Tampából, Floridából származó amerikai power metal együttes, amelyet 1987-ben alapított Thomas Youngblood gitáros. A zenekar zenéjébe szimfonikus és progresszív metal elemeket épített be, és a power metal műfaj egyik legismertebb képviselőjének számít.
Az I Am the Empire: Live From the 013 című élő album 2020 augusztusában jelent meg a Napalm Records kiadónál négylemezes Blu-ray szettként. Ez a harmadik koncertalbum az együttes pályafutásában, és a második élő kiadványuk DVD/Blu-ray formátumban. A felvétel a 013-as helyszínen rögzített fellépést örökíti meg, amelyen összesen 63 dal hangzott el, köztük olyan számok, mint a Phantom Divine (Shadow Empire), a Veil of Elysium, a March of Mephisto vagy a Forever. A lemezen vendégénekesként közreműködnek Lauren Hart, Elize Ryd, Alissa White-Gluz és Charlotte Wessels.
A felvétel idején a felállást Tommy Karevik énekes, Thomas Youngblood alapító gitáros, Oliver Palotai billentyűs, Sean Tibbetts basszusgitáros, Alex Landenburg dobos, valamint a kísérő vokálokban Elize Ryd és Alissa White-Gluz alkották.
