A Modern Talking német synthpop duó volt – Thomas Anders énekes és Dieter Bohlen zeneszerző, producer. Az egyik legsikeresebb német popegyüttes volt valaha. 1985 elején slágerlistás sikert arattak a You're My Heart, You're My Soul című dallal; további slágereik közé tartozik a Cheri, Cheri Lady, a Brother Louie és az Atlantis Is Calling.
Az Original Album Classics című összeállítás 2011-ben jelent meg a Legacy kiadó gondozásában. A doboz a Modern Talking első öt stúdióalbumát tartalmazza: The First Album, Let's Talk About Love, Ready For Romance, In The Middle Of Nowhere és In the Garden Of Venus. Összesen 49 dal található rajta, amelyek a duó 80-as évekbeli csúcsidőszakának munkásságát mutatják be.
