A Necrofier egy amerikai black metal trió a texasi Houstonból, amely a műfaj klasszikus iskolája által ihletett melodikus black metalt játszik. Az együttest diszonáns basszusvonalak, dübörgő vokálok, fűrészszerű gitárok és pusztító dobszekció jellemzi.
A Burning Shadows in the Southern Night 2023-ban jelent meg CD-n a Season of Mist Underground Activists kiadónál. Az album tíz dalt tartalmaz, összesen több mint 47 perc játékidővel. A kiemelkedő pillanatok közé tartozik a címadó Total Southern Darkness, a brutális Destroying Angels, az epikus Forbidden Light of the Black Moon és a záró Burnt by the Sacred Flame.
