Az Onslaught brit thrash metal együttes Bristolból, 1982-ben alakult. A hardcore punk és a brit heavy metal új hulláma által inspirálva a brit thrash metal szcéna egyik legjelentősebb képviselője.
A Sound of Violence (Anniversary Edition) album kétlemezes jubileumi kiadásként jelenik meg CD-n. Az első lemez az Into The Abyss intrót, majd az Born For War, The Sound Of Violence, Code Black dalokat tartalmazza, és az End Of The Storm outroval zárul. A második bónuszlemez egy Motörhead-feldolgozást (Bomber), több stúdiófelvételt és hat élő felvételt kínál, köztük az Rest In Pieces (Live) és The Sound Of Violence (Live) dalokat.
