Nicholas Hooper brit film- és televíziós zeneszerző, aki a Harry Potter-sorozat ötödik és hatodik részének filmzenéjét komponálta. Munkásságáért BAFTA-díjat és Ivor Novello-díjat kapott, és gyakran dolgozott együtt David Yates rendezővel.
A Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince a saga hatodik részének filmzenéje, amely először 2009-ben jelent meg, most pedig ismét elérhető bakelitkiadásban, duplaalbumként. A zene lírai, intim motívumokat ötvöz, amelyek aláhúzzák a főszereplők felnövését, feszült zenekari passzázsokkal, amelyek fokozzák Voldemort növekvő fenyegetését. A kiemelkedő dalok között szerepel az In Noctem, a Ginny és a Dumbledore's Farewell.
