A Mercenary dán melodic death metal együttes, amelyet 1991-ben alapítottak Aalborgban. Zenéjükbe power metal és progresszív metal elemeket is beépítenek.
A Soundtrack for the End Times című album 2023-ban jelent meg a NoiseArt Records kiadónál 4 paneles digipack kiadásban, tizenhat oldalas füzettel. A tizenegy dal az energikus Burning in Reverse-től az Anthem for the Anxious-on át a hétperces záródalig, a Beyond the Waves-ig terjed. Az album összhatása melodikus death metal riffeket és erőteljes power metal részeket ötvöz.
Az albumon közreműködtek Mikkel Sandager, Morten Sandager, Martin Buus, Jakob Mølbjerg, Mike Park és Rene Pedersen.
